4th Place Overall - Mississauga Open Data Hackathon

Alongside my team, I utilized open data sets provided by the city of Mississauga to develop a solar-index heatmap to visually represent solar energy potential in the city. We secured 4th place overall, demonstrating strong teamwork, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.

Volunteer of The Year Award - Brookedge Academy

During the covid pandemic, where volunteer opportunities were scarce, I actively sought out ways I could involve myself in the community. After tutoring at Brookedge Academy for over a year, I decided I wanted to get creative. I realized that it was more difficult for students to learn online, so I created a prototype of the Learn Chemistry app and presented it to the leaders of the organization. I dedicated 3 months and 125 hours to developing this app and eventually used it to lead the Brookedge Academy Young Chemists workshop.
